Merlin pass

Soo decided i want or rarther would like to get us a family merlin pass. For 2 adults and 2 children. Not the standered one as theres restrictions on when to go but the one up from it.

Has any one else got theae and are they worth it? Its a lot of money in one go so was wondering do they so monthly direct debits?

We had them for a couple of years and think they are great value for money. We didn't re-new this year as we had totally exhausted all the attractions!

Definitely get the premium ones as there are quite a few exclusions in the school holidays on the standard ones. You will re-coup the difference in the price with the free parking alone.

We bought the Premium Passes last year for 2 adults & 2 children and definitely got our money's worth. We knew we would be going to London in August so needed to get the Premium passes to visit Madame Tussauds and the London Eye - we got priority entrance to both with the passes too. We managed to fit in loads of the other attractions but it was a little exhausting at the time!

I don't think you can pay by monthly direct debits but you could get a 0% interest credit card to put it on then pay it off in equivalent monthly instalments.

Definitely worth it, but they don't do direct debits. We got them again this year after having a break (had them for 3 consecutive years before DD was born) They used to do a sale between Christmas and New Year when they were half price if you bought them in person so we'd go to Chessington Zoo one day in the Christmas holidays and sign up (using some of the Christmas money DC had got from relatives to help with the cost)
