On Christmas eve, DD's get new PJ's and a Christmas film to watch, so I need ideas! Previous ones they have received are:

The Nutcracker
Frosty the Snowman
The Littlest light on the Christmas Tree
Spot's Magical Christmas
Nightmare Before Christmas

They are 2 and 8.

SO hit me with some great Christmas movies? We have seen most of the big ones e.g. Miracle on 34th Street, The Santa Clause etc.

My son loved Mickey Mouse Once Upon a Christmas last year at 2 and Arthur Christmas

The polar express always makes me feel Christmassy I love it!

The snowman is ESSENTIAL Christmas Eve viewing!!!! It's normally on channel 4 but the DVD is on Amazon

The Muppets Christmas Carol for me. It's just not Christmas without it.

I also now (bought last year) have an DVD of an old childhood favourite Yogi Bears First Christmas. I had it on VHS as a child and played it over and over all year round until the tape snapped. I was ecstatic when they finally released it on DVD.

I really love Jim Henson's The Christmas Toy about a toy tiger who Santa brought last year and who thinks he'll be the Christmas toy again this year. It's really cheesey but it's a cute little movie and not too long, so perfect for a younger child. Even if you've never seen it, you'll find it very familiar though as Toy Story borrowed very, very heavily from it.

Ooh Springer I've never heard of that one! Will have a look for it
