I am thinking it can live under DS's bed (high sleeper) and be a riding-dragon Smile

WhatWouldFlopDo · 01/10/2016 12:48

Anyone looking for sticking fillers might like these sticky lizards. I'm putting some in all of our stockings so we can have window races or throw them at the ceiling.

WhatWouldFlopDo · 01/10/2016 12:49

Grin stocking fillers, although they are sticky!

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 01/10/2016 12:54

Angry I had done so so well resisting the unicorn for me. I'm never going to be able to resist the crocodile too. We already have a giant bear and a huge dinosaur but the crocodile looks lovely

FeelingSmurfy · 01/10/2016 12:55

Snooky it was me who was looking for the jelly belly advent calendar! Thankyou

imnottoofussed · 01/10/2016 12:57

Finally nearly caught up with the bargains, 2 hours going through threads 7 and 8 Smile just to keep up now Confused

FeelingSmurfy · 01/10/2016 13:03

I got the christmas bookmarks from amazon and they arrived in about a week, I am going to put them in Christmas cards (I'm thinking attach to card and little arrow pointing to them saying they are bookmarks

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual · 01/10/2016 13:21

Thanks something Flowers

Probably time I contacted Amazon in that case.

cookiefiend · 01/10/2016 13:24

DH doesn't love sweet things so I am always looking for little snacks that are different for his stocking. I've noticed if you go through topcashback you can get £1.57 cash back for signing up to your first graze box- which is free and easy enough to cancel.

Thought it would make a nice few things to throw in with decent cash back. If you don't have a topcashback account make sure you sign up through a referral link- costs you nothing, but earns the other person cash. Reastie has a link in the second post.

Been into town today and not much to report except...
Tiger have shark pet beds! £10 each. They look pretty good to me.
Boots is 10% off today - I got some very £££ Estée Lauder face stuff for £46 instead of £52 and advantage points too!
Some shops have got some Xmas bits in...
Lakeland have chocolate handbags! Great gift for handbag and chocolate living friends I thought...they have chocolate dinosaurs too. Ds2 will be getting one of those :)
Lush have some Xmas stuff in too....really really lovely Polar bear tin with stuff in for £19.95. Not that bargainous but it's lovely :)
Paperchase have boxes of 30 Xmas cards for £5 which I think are good quality
Debenhams and m and s have sales on but I didn't see much I liked.
THE BOOTS XMAS BOOK IS OUT!!!
Um....think that's it!
Happy bargain hunting....

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 01/10/2016 13:45

Thanks so much for the L'occataine codes, I didn't treat myself to the calendar but bought the bits for my mum that I've uhmed and aahed over and got my aunts and bosses gift in one fell swoop!

itsonlysubterfuge · 01/10/2016 13:59

Unicorn Slippers from Matalan £7.00 and super cute.

Chocolateteabag · 01/10/2016 14:09

Thank you to whoever posted the Boden code for 20% off sale prices ( 6e7e ) - that's several presents sorted for DN's and friends kids

  • going to write "Your Present is PANTS!" on the presents (of pants) to my friends 8 & 9 year old boys yes they already roll their eyes at my sad attempts to be down with them
Chocolateteabag · 01/10/2016 14:40

Oh Camel alert popped up - LEGO City Advent calendar down to £15.99 on Amazon - but be quick as it'll probably be back up soon

Soupandasandwich · 01/10/2016 14:56

Ordered L'occitane advent calendar. Twice. One for me (yay!) and one as a birthday gift for DDIL. I ordered them in two separate orders so qualified for the online offer of either the basket of ladies products or the men's washrag for each order. Got one of each - one for DS1's gf and one for DS2. Can't wait til they arrive.

disneyprincesswannabe · 01/10/2016 15:01

I made the dc's write their Christmas lists this morning (well santa and his elves has lots of kids around the world to make toys for so it's best to let them know early so they have time to build them ya know Wink) and guess what dsd has requested? A Robert! An Argos Robert! I've never been so excited.

disneyprincesswannabe · 01/10/2016 15:06

Argh I don't know what to do! I ordered the lego advent calendar plus a couple of other bits through very on the 14th sept with the new customer spend £40 get £20 off offer. The other bits have arrived but the calendar is "awaiting stock". If I cancel and order through amazon I will forfeit the £20 won't I?

yaffle · 01/10/2016 15:39

I vaguely remember someone looking for Bean Boozled , it's £2.99 here www.stocking-fillers.co.uk/bean-boozled and the code EARLYBIRD gives 15% off until today .

Theonlyoneiknow · 01/10/2016 17:15

Just in case anyone didn't know - was in toys r us today and they will price match (including amazon) and if it's smyths will give a further 10% off after the price match

stealthsquiggle · 01/10/2016 17:28

BeBesidethesea - My DS has the equivalent of that crocodile dragon but from Smyths - it is very very snugly and loved. Good buy!

stealthsquiggle · 01/10/2016 17:34

The L'Occitane basket has sold out Sad

You can still get the washbag, but I have no one for whom that would be a good gift, so I have just saved myself a fortune by not getting an advent calendar for me.

stealthsquiggle · 01/10/2016 17:39

Red and Black Dragon Soft Toy sitting 160cm [[https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00OUVD9XK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_xz-7xbA1Y7VHD this]] is the largest dragon we have - although I hasten to add that I did not pay anywhere near that much for him.

stealthsquiggle · 01/10/2016 17:41

FGS

Theimpossiblegirl · 01/10/2016 17:47

I got some 3 packs of lipbalms for £1 earlier at Superdrug. I'm going to split them up and put them with the bargainous nail varnishes from Boots a thread or two back.
Cute vanilla lipbalms
