Not sure if I've gone mad, but I decided to Order some VR glasses for £15 on lightening deal for next 10 mins - hopefully either Dh or one of the DCs will like them!

MammaGnomes · 29/09/2016 18:24

Pop we bought my 3 year old a wooden dolls house for her birthday! It's from Asda it's fab as was only £35. Not sure if I can do links but I'll try http://direct.asda.com/george/kids/wooden-toys/george-home-wooden-dolls-house/000710876,default,pd.html

It's part of the spend £50 get 20% off too so if you got furniture you would qualify

Finally got around to ordering the Beer Hawk advent calendar - comes with a free tasting kit and the ADVENT10 code still works so you get it for £65. Plus if you go through TopCashback there's 7% back I think. Thanks to the original poster of that deal, DH will be so, so happy!

Snooky17 · 29/09/2016 18:34

Thanks for the ideas carrot she did mention that she wants a chocolate one this year, she had the playmobil unicorn/fairy one last year which was/is lovely, got the youngest the happyland one so feel a bit mean if she only has a choc one

OhHolyFuck · 29/09/2016 18:48

lego juniors race car rally was £25ish now £16.50
Comes in a really big box too so looks a substantial present and can be used for lego storage afterwards

PopGoesBang · 29/09/2016 18:55

Mamma that is lovely! And the doll set to go with it has more of a 'family' set to it. So many options!
Will mull them over and make decisions tomorrow!

Scarlett I'd strongly recommend actually trying on dressing gowns because you can pay a lot without getting a really luxurious feel speaks from experience . Look for a slightly longer sleeve with a thick cuff, generous allowance of fabric across the front so it doesn't just close over but really overlaps fully, and a fullish collar to snuggle into. Those are all things that cheaper dressing gowns skimp on. It should feel thick but not have much weight.
I'm starting to sound like my granny Blush

Any ideas for presents for young adult males (in college but living at home) that aren't grooming products? Family but I don't really know them very well at all so I'm looking for something kind of generic but not toiletries or clothes. Feel terrible writing that!!

BanoffeePieIsMyFave · 29/09/2016 19:51

Thanks ohholy ordered for DS Flowers

MrsHam13 · 29/09/2016 19:52

Guess what happened today!

Last year I got the unicorn stompeez that were reduced in Argos that someone recommend on this thread. Wrapped stuff up on Xmas eve tipsy on prosecco. Noticed after present unwrapping they weren't there Xmas morning. Then couldn't find them anywhere. Went to stash my daughters birthday presents today for next week and found them at the back of a kitchen cupboard iv since cleaned out since then ha. So she's getting them for her b day!

teaorwine · 29/09/2016 19:54

Reindeer, recently got my dd 7 a gymnastics mat in ikea for her birthday. They also have a bench that's she's considering asking Santa for...

CwtchyQ · 29/09/2016 19:55

I wasn't even after a dressing gown but Amy just sold it to me Grin I'll be the freak in a department store near you, cuddling into the thick collar of a dressing gown (half joking)

Just as a tip, i got the toot toot calender for £10 last year. I bought it on Dec 1st in John Lewis but there is obviously no guarantee that it will be available...and i got away with it as DS was only 9 months Blush

Can't seem to find the free benefit gifts on boots website, only another one where you get a free bag when you buy 3 products. Any suggestions?

MeMyElfandI · 29/09/2016 20:49

Forget the pig popper. Ladies I bring you the unicorn popper.
