creating some sort of rope attachment and Robert could actually be flying above the stairs....

Grin with his window portal behind him Grin

"Oh, I photographed Robert the Argos unicorn for some women on the internet. Y'know, for size."

^^ Grin

flatmouse · 22/09/2016 16:59

Missing the point of the thread (maybe Robert should have his own thread?) but here is pre-Robert (ToysRUs 2006!)

supermariossister · 22/09/2016 17:03

Could someone repost the studio codes please :) can't find them.

My chanted nails boxes were a bit bashed but nothing drastic emailed seller and they said exchange, full refund for return or partial refund so I've got 1.78 back or something

CandyMcJingles · 22/09/2016 17:14

SideOrderofChips I'm laughing at the Christmas pig duvet. Pig in a blanket? :)

She is reaching the age when she worries that her friends will think she is babyish for sleeping in a heap of cuddly animals sad but she would love a Robert

How old is your dd? Mine is 12 and would adore a Robert, and she would declare him the best present ever. I however am struggling with paying £30 on a cuddly toy when I could spend that on something she actually needs (the Christmas budget is only £100 per child for tree presents, stocking fillers and advent calendars so £30 is a big chunk of that!). With luck he will drop another 50% to £15 then she might get him for her 13th birthday (January)

My Robert came today. Box now on top of a wardrobe. Will have to pretend something else is in it as my daughter will notice it straight away 😁

stealthsquiggle · 22/09/2016 17:42

She's almost 10. Much too young to be abandoning furry friends. She doesn't actually want to, she just wants reassurance that her friends are just being obnoxious it's "normal".

Shufflebum · 22/09/2016 17:45

Has anyone bought any of those inflatable beach beds like this
I've seen varying reviews but they would be a great present for my in laws who live near a river.

stealthsquiggle · 22/09/2016 17:48

Shufflebum yes, I have one - not from whichever vendor it is that keeps coming up on my FB feed (and when you look has a stream of people waiting for delivery months after ordering Hmm) but from either Amazon or eBay.

I like it, DH hates it. It's not quite as easy to inflate as they portray, but once DS (13) and I got the hang of it, it works well.

AdmiralCLingus · 22/09/2016 18:08

I think some of the boots 342 has gone live on line and we have been sorting out the shelves for the stock at work today

FeelingSmurfy · 22/09/2016 18:24

If the argos Robert is smaller, does that make it a Rob Xmas Hmm

ninjaturtlesmum · 22/09/2016 18:34

FeelingSmurfy - that is brilliant news and even better that you got the big one. Thanks for letting me know (and we now know that it's a safe site to buy from)! Smile

SitsOnFence · 22/09/2016 18:35

That's a nice one stealth. I'd seen it elsewhere but dismissed it because it looked too small, but it's a good size really and I really like teddies that have beans in them. I had something shorter-haired and lighter-coloured in mind, but am going to have to stop dithering and settle on something eventually!

WreckTangled · 22/09/2016 18:39

Admiral I'm very sad boots no longer do an nhs discount!

Jessica78 · 22/09/2016 18:46

Finally got my IWOOT refund today after opening a PayPal dispute...

MrsJamin · 22/09/2016 19:14

Lego millenium falcon £84.99 again... Quick, it went up again yesterday! www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00SDTTH5E/

Coldilox · 22/09/2016 19:23

Thanks to the PP who posted the bargainous Hawkins Bazaar helicopter, that's one nephew sorted!

Was there a Hollister code posted a while back? My search isn't working, if anybody could repost.

Aldi had tubs of Play Foh for 79p each today.

Wondermoomin · 22/09/2016 19:26

Chocolateteabag:
Am I being thick on the Tesco chocolates?

LikeSilver - you linked to chocolates which are on a BOGOF offer - so 8 boxes at £2 each will cost £8.
The code you've given gives £7 off the order so takes £4 below £40 charge plus £3 to give the £5 total cost?

The code itself is a good one to have btw - but cant see a glitch from £20? Or am I looking at the wrong chocolates?

I don't know where you get the £3 from but the rest of what you've said is pretty much how it's working for me.

8 boxes @ £2/box on BOGOF = £8
Code XXLPLA = £7 off bringing it to £1
Add £4 for click and collect for all orders under £40 = £5 total charge

Silver is that how it's meant to work? What was the bit you said about ignoring the £4 basket charge for click and collect?

shittlebaggle · 22/09/2016 19:30

Saw some v cheap pug pens/lip balm/other bits in Card Factory today. Think there were mugs?

They looked really nice, if DCs are pug fans Smile

LikeSilver · 22/09/2016 19:34

I meant ignoring it as in, the code takes it off, I suppose. I just thought it was a good deal worth sharing.

Oreocrumbs · 22/09/2016 19:38

I went for a wander round Sainsbury's tu 25% off sale today and got some lovely bits for dd for the winter and somenput away for Christmas.

Got an extra bargainous baby roller thingy for a friend's ds. The tag said £8 but it rang through at £4 and then - 25% so it was. £3 Grinand....... it has a cape!
