Argos 3 for 2 tomorrow.
Had reserved some play doh sets at reduced price (£6.99 from £17.99!) and needed three. Could have picked them up today or tomorrow. Went to collect and they tried charging me 3x£17.99. I paid 3x£6.99. I presume if I tried tomorrow they probably wouldn't have honoured my £6.99 price!

I can't remember how much people has seen it for, but Nadiya's Bake Me A Story is £4.99 in book people sale.

Thank you for dancing mice link.

Methenyouplus4 · 20/09/2016 22:58

Any codes for FCUK or Warehouse? Ideally 15-20% to be able to get planeed purchases (otherwise too £££ for a gift).

BaBaBaBoomBoom · 20/09/2016 23:24

Weird one.. I'm looking for a duck soft toy, that looks like a real duck.. Not a yellow bath one. Ds is obsessed, but struggling to find one that's a decent cuddling size!

RJnomore1 · 20/09/2016 23:29

Baba I got dd this one from dobbies - it was £7.50 in there. It's decent sized and it quacks!

I'm proud to introduce you to the latest thread babies...

My local TRU was oos, but I happened to pass the Brent Cross store at 9.45 this evening. I ran in but couldn't find one anywhere, I found someone who got the last of the stock out for me. I'd taken my dad in with me so he could tell me to stop being ridiculous and forget buying a Robert. Instead he said, we're going to need two of those Xmas Grin

I dropped the uni-twins straight around to my dads for him to store until Christmas. Not only away from prying twin eyes, but away from my OH and my mum who will tell me off 😬

SnowBodyforrrrm · 20/09/2016 23:46

And also the man working there said they're due a big delivery of unicorns tomorrow so keep your eyes peeled if your local store is out of stock as they may well get a delivery tomorrow too!

Kat3L · 20/09/2016 23:58

Thanks VinoTime, I've been looking for a Lego ideas book for ages. That hardback one is a great price!

confuugled1 · 21/09/2016 01:06

Eeeeeek. So many things to catch up on and so many things to add but too much to do yet to get ready for tomorrow so they will have to wait.

Just a couple of quick ones though.

Popped into my local mid sized Poundland - they had lots of shelf ends that were in the process of being filled with toys that were more than a pound. If I've deciphered the notes scrawled alongside the shelves, things were between about £4 and £8 but included Barbie dolls for £5, triple packs of old skylanders for £5, double packs of HotWheels Star Wars cars for £5 (which are usually £9-10), some Frozen and Minecraft stuff and space for lots more...

ShoppingBasket · 21/09/2016 01:16

Anyone notice if Amazon have brought their prices down yet because of Argos? It is cheaper for me at the moment even if it doesn't but I want a real bargain! The things in my basket haven't budged yet. I'm waiting to swoop I feel like a preying mantis vulture :D

RoastieToastieReastie · 21/09/2016 06:27

Thanks for the smyths codes, might be useful for getting DD a baby born which never seem to be in the sales.

Ocado is doing 3 for 2 on craft and science toys and 4 for 3 on pocket money toys that are perfect as stocking stuffers.
