Ds2 hasn't been initiated yet. It was very useful when ds1 was younger as it was the first thing he would actually sit and watch. In builder ted there is a song about tarmac or bit Mac. Very Cathy.

Chocolateteabag · 20/09/2016 19:46

Mummyshortlegz - I watched one Tractor Ted all the way through once - never again. I could probably do a better job with my iPhone and make one myself. Same with the books - they really are pretty awful.
HOWEVER - the boys love them and that means they are worth their weight in gold so long as I don't have to watch another one

My friend has dvd players in the back of the front seats of her car and has Tractor ted on for hers on all journeys - I think that may be taking things too far though I think she drinks a lot of gin most evenings to recover

So the smiggle sale cost me £20 today!!! I went in. I shouldn't have gone in. I want EVERYTHING. Also had a most unbaragainous trip to build a bear well it was bargainous for me because dds dad paid... I had some bear club vouchers to use but still came out £45 lighter Confused whoops! I did get dd a lalaloopsy that she desperately wants and a care bear for my friends little one in the 2 for £26 though....

Thanks to whoever posted the link to Arcane - some great stuff for my hard to buy for bil. Thanks.

MyFirstMyLastMyEverythingBagel · 20/09/2016 20:09

Just a quick question if any of you pros can help - I've reserved some stuff at Argos tonight ready for the three for two sale - does anyone know if they will apply the three for two or will they charge the price I've reserved it at Flowers

BadgerFace · 20/09/2016 20:11

disney keep checking back on the Happyland advent calendar - I put it in my basket on Sunday, then it was out of stock yesterday when I went back to pay, then back in stock today when I went to look at 3 for 2. Which worked out for me in the end as otherwise I wouldn't have got the bus for free in 3 for 2!!

I saw some interesting jigsaws in a gift shop with my aunt over the summer. I'd forgotten about them until I saw Amazon had a deal on them atm.

Unicorn jewelry box £11-99
Owls jewelry tree £8-55
Unicorn vase £11-99

It was the vases we saw and thought they were a really novel idea and I'm planning to give one to my aunt for christmas.
They come with a plastic inner that holds the water to protect the puzzle.

RJnomore1 · 20/09/2016 20:14

Found these pjs on la redoute for the older my little pony fan - - I've ordered the age 14 for my 12yo

m.laredoute.co.uk/ppdp/prod-350037739?docid=221816#searchkeyword=My%20little%20pony

With the 40% off they are down from £9 to £5.40 and free click and collect

gingerbreadmanm · 20/09/2016 20:17

not heard of the nes but dp has the megadrive which is amazing and really takes you back to your youth.

lots of built in games and you can still buy old games on ebay / amazon for under a 5a.

only thing with the megadrive is the control pads are rubbish but the original megadrive ones fit and can be bought easily enough.

gingerbreadmanm · 20/09/2016 20:18

www.argos.co.uk/m/static/Product/partNumber/3816789.htm this is the one.

gingerbreadmanm · 20/09/2016 20:24

i got this for dp last year which i think i paid about £5.99 for and it was a great stocking filler.

went down a storm which is why we ended up with the megadrive.

My DH is very excited about the NES - have had one on order for a while for his main gift from me. He is a proper retro gamer though!

RJnomore1 · 20/09/2016 20:42

I've just put in a Lisa Angel order, two lovely necklaces, a scarf with pom-poms, a fairy trinket dish, pineapple notebook, and a really pretty bracelet for me, for less than £20 using the code and free delivery. Thank you!

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual · 20/09/2016 20:45

Thanks for M&S feedback! Checked account and 'awaiting dispatch', but checked my order email more carefully and like you smurfy it says delivery by Thursday. Not sure how likely that is even if dispatched tomorrow...

I'm impatient for my baubles!

RoastieToastieReastie · 20/09/2016 20:50

What is this nes you speak of? Dh likes old Skool types computer games so might be good.

Ive just looked up,that NES and it looks fab - I've pre ordered this one from the Nintendo shop.

MrsBungle · 20/09/2016 20:58

rogl that looks good, do you have a link?

rogl · 20/09/2016 21:02

Mrsbungle I can't link sorry but if you the app wish it's on there.. it did take two weeks to arrive though.

Haudyerwheesht · 20/09/2016 21:03

myfirst they'll put it through as 342 unless you want them to do otherwise because it'd work out cheaper that way? Sometimes they seem to honour the reserved price though and sometimes they don't. Confused

Right everyone - I've downloaded wish and am totally confused! Help?

rogl · 20/09/2016 21:04

A picture of it is the best I can do sorry

The John Deere tractor at ELC linked to yesterday is excellent. Played with daily by 2.5y and 1.5y DSs. And 40 something DH too! We've acquired a further two since then.

I'm looking for bargains on a themed Monopoly, eg Disney, and a Playmobil fire engine this year.

rogl · 20/09/2016 21:08

Hays how can I help?
