In completely non bargainous news, Milton brown are doing an advent calendar this year for £150 😮 Of course the £10 voucher is due next month…

I have just ordered it. Free 6 piece gift set on orders over £70 plus 6 miles per £ on Virgin. I had the l'occitane one last year which was ok but a few windows had paper gift tags or glitter stars in them- wasn't all l'occitane items.

Tollygunge · 09/09/2016 08:44

Tiggles · 09/09/2016 08:54

amberNectarine the Sainsburys sale always seems to be in half term week, I guess to ensure parents can't buy lots of stuff for Christmas as they have kids in tow Grin

Wait4nothing
Vtech activity table, currently £25 from £37; has dropped lower, but seems to be mostly this price. Good reviews and Vtech is a good brand.

Vtech discovery tree, currently £34 from £43 but has gone as low as £19. Again, good reviews and brand and it looks a little different than normal activity tables.

Fisher Price poptivity, currently £24 from £40 and seems stick around that price. No reviews, Brand used to b good, but you don't see it so much now.

Most of the tables seem to be quite expensive. My eldest had one, but I don't recall any of my others having something like that. How old is your dd? My youngest is 2 and she's been playing with her brother's wooden kitchen since she could pull herself up on it.
You it also find that the noises get annoying after a while and I definitely recall my eldest climbing on hers and sitting on it.

neddle · 09/09/2016 09:00

I think there was a separate thread for mermaid/shark blankets?

WuTangFlan · 09/09/2016 09:17

Half price mini sewing machine £12.50 from Hobbycraft's Ebay store. I'm really happy with my one for running up things quickly. Basic but easy to use and does what I need.

purpleladybird · 09/09/2016 09:28

Strangely I ordered to Shark beds from different sellers.

I had a feeling someone received one as I recall seeing a photo.

I don't know why I'm bothered, I don't even have an animal to put in it.

Darkswan · 09/09/2016 09:33

Does anyone remember how much the hotel chocolat deal was last year? £9.95 seems pretty good but wondering if it was even cheaper closer to Christmas. Or maybe it's worth waiting anyway to ensure they're in date by Christmas. Also did anyone have any problems cancelling their subscription afterwards or was it fairly straightforward?

wornoutboots · 09/09/2016 09:59

anyone who ordered the motion sand sets from amazon, mine have turned up well before the date Amazon said they would. Which is good.

Arriving 12 Sep - 15 Sep but actually got here yesterday

RJnomore1 · 09/09/2016 10:02

I'm sure hotel chocolat was £6.95 last year

Wait4nothing · 09/09/2016 10:04

Thanks neddle - someone has posted on Facebook that b&m have one for £20 - might pop in at the weekend.
She'll only be 8 months at Xmas but has very few toys atm - I'm ok with it only getting a few months play as I will pass it on - I'm thinking a wooden kitchen for first 1st birthday (but hoping to save the space in the living room for a little longer!)

woodwaj · 09/09/2016 10:05

Was there an iwoot code knocking about?

user1471499267 · 09/09/2016 10:11

Does anyone know if the Sylvanian families bits get heavily reduced black Friday? Wondering whether to wait unti then or buy when Smyths have 20% off. Any info would be appreciated!! Thanks.

RJnomore1 · 09/09/2016 10:13

Wood try WBACK

22% off but I've not used it so don't know if it works

MrsCrimbo74 · 09/09/2016 10:14

The WBACK code from IWOOT doesn't work on many things, I tried it on the candy grabber [sad}

BustingOut · 09/09/2016 10:17

Would anyone have a discount code for Early Learning Centre please? Need to get my hands on Happyland toys! I can't offer anything at the moment except my eternal gratitude! Blush

FeelingSmurfy · 09/09/2016 10:22

OK I am very tempted with the stationery advent calendar, are there any vouchers?

I'm not so sure this thread is saving me money Grin

SideOrderofChip · 09/09/2016 10:24

Hello!! gosh thread 5! i shall go and stash shot in a moment.

Thank you Reastie. As always, now the kids are back to school i shall have a root around for offers online for the pinned post

WuTangFlan · 09/09/2016 10:30

I don't know about Sylvanian stuff user - but if you can find what you're interested in on Amazon, you can stick it in camelcamelcamel and look at the price trend across the past 12 months, which will probably give you an idea whether they drop around Black Friday or not.

WuTangFlan · 09/09/2016 10:33

E.g. lowest price on Beechwood House was Nov 23 2015, according to ccc so possinly worth waiting - see here.
