I'm not sure if anyone has posted this yet, apologies if so.

Joules has 25% off everything with the code QUACK. I think it ends today. I just git £15 off dd's winter coat and bought some leggings as Christmas presents.

LostMyRubySlippers · 11/09/2016 10:18

Aceyalonso · 11/09/2016 10:22

SitsOnFence My local Asda is a big one with a homes section so they always have the blankets in stock. There might be the odd time you hit it wrong and they're out of stock of the colour you want just because of the way the stock control happens so if you are going a long way to get them it's worth ordering them to pick up in store.

And if you want something else with pugs on to go with it, they have very cute pug cushions - several designs, do a search for them on the asda site. (Sorry on phone so it's messing up links!). They're £6-8.

Does anyone know where I can get baubles from? Gold and rose gold ones. I obviously want cheap ones. Sadly not even eBay is throwing up anything.

GerrardWinstanley · 11/09/2016 10:53

Thank you for the reminder of The Book People. Just saved £18 off Amazon prices for books that were on the kids wish lists plus got £2 cash back and free delivery. So £38 for 7 books that would have cost £58 from Amazon. Very pleased Grin

AdmiralCLingus · 11/09/2016 10:58

catanddogmake6 I just asked my husband about Justice League as he knows about that sort of thing (I only know X Files comics!). He said from memory he doesn't think there is anything very inappropriate in there, he recommended the earlier ones and suggested a trade paperback (a hardback collection of comics you can buy them on Amazon).

I think you might be best going in to Forbidden Planet if you have one near by so you could have a look at the comics yourself and see if staff have any more specific recommendations.

He did suggest that batman comics tend to be darker so would stay away from those for a child.

If you are looking for other sorts of presents presents I would recommend Funko Pops and DC Justice League Mystery Minis which would make a great stocking filler.

There is also a TV programme which the reviews on Amazon said was child appropriate aside from some innuendo that is likely to go over their heads

DVD boxset
