Can I please get some kind of award for my willpower? I have not bought a shark bed, a razor, a blender or a mermaid blanket. Now down to me!

Haudyerwheesht · 10/09/2016 22:04

Erm BOW not not!

BrollySmolly · 10/09/2016 22:10

I picked up a few little bargains from Wilko today. This little stationary set (contains mini stapler and staples, mini sellotape, highlighter and paper clips) was £1 and the photo hanging kit was £1.50. I have bought them for a 12 year old's birthday, but got extra for Christmas stockings too. Also bought some mlp rubbers and pencil sets.

coragreta · 10/09/2016 22:20

Anyone know where I can get a big fluffy blanket for me and my 1 year old to snuggle in. Really big and really cheap.

snowgirl1 · 10/09/2016 22:23

Cute wind up unicorn if you're looking for an add-on item on Amazon

Burts Bees have sent me a link to their Spring Essentials Bundle, worth £50, on offer for £19: link Valid up until the end of September.

MooPointCowsOpinion · 10/09/2016 23:05

Stationary advent calendar?! Where?

confuugled1 · 10/09/2016 23:06

Coragreta have just lost a longer post but check out Asda for amazing soft snuggly warm cheap throws and blankets.

The £5 plush throws are fab (we have loads, they wash and wear really well) and the last few years they have done love christmas designs. But for a seriously big cosy blanket fix their sherpa blankets are amazing and fought over by my dc as they try to nab mine - guess what they're getting this xmas!

If you have access to Costco they usually have really good throgooat dirt cheap prices.

woodwaj · 10/09/2016 23:16

They had £5 blankets in the matalan Christmas shop.

I am looking for inspiration for 2 x 9 year old girls. They dont know each other so they can have the same present. Budget £10 max but would like it to look more! 😃

I still see them as little but I think they are bordering with advanced mini teen syndrome 😂

Donthate · 10/09/2016 23:19

woodwaj Mermaid blanket?

BaBaBaBoomBoom · 10/09/2016 23:29

Cheeky placemark until I have something to add

Darkswan · 10/09/2016 23:57

I'm seconding asda blankets. So soft and lovely! I'd get one each rather than one big blanket.

SomethingOfTheNight · 11/09/2016 00:18

Another vote for the Asda Micro Plush blankets. Had to buy non Christmas ones for my 9 year old twin girls as they hated me packing the Christmas ones away in the loft!

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual · 11/09/2016 07:08

Thomas that Burts Bees set looks great. Annoyingly I don't think I have anyone to give it to! Wondering about getting it for a birthday next year...

whatsitallabout1 · 11/09/2016 07:16

Not sure it's a bargain but inspired nonetheless... May I present a Pig Crackling Advent Calendar

Have already picked up several things for Chrimbo due to these threads, thanks all!

sepsisandAKI · 11/09/2016 07:17

Thanks for the jawbone code neddle completely forgot to check back! Did you get one? Are they any good?

AdmiralCLingus · 11/09/2016 07:35

Morning all!

Had an email from candles direcg this morning. Selected large yankee jars are 3 for £43 (random price!!!) And they have lots of christmas/festive ones in the offer. They also have lots of lovely oil burners and candle holders in the save 50% section and some other large jars in there too

Must restrain myself..... I have an 80lr plastic box full of candles....

SitsOnFence · 11/09/2016 08:17

Wow, those ASDA blankets look great! Can you buy them in store, or do you have to order them in? I'd budgeted up to £20 for a nice blanket for DS, plus have 'something with pugs on' further down the list. That £6 pug blanket will be ideal!
