Christmas

Ultimate buffet?

I've hosted Christmas day before but this year its my turn to do the Grand Boxing Day Buffet :)
Basically all the family and kids pile in one house for a day of snacking and games.
What would you all like to see/would serve at your dream buffet?
I have one veggie, one person who likes very basic plain food, a few toddlers and a few who are into spicey food.
There will of course be Christmassy bits, cold meats etc but its all the extra bits I'm lacking inspiration for.
Also will be a separate dessert/cheese section in the evening. BlushGrin
Any ideas/recipes greatly appreciated!

They are Awoof. We had them at a wedding and people were waiting at the doors of the kitchen to grab them as soon as the waiting staff came out.

Any buffet is OK by me as long as there are sausage rolls and they don't mix the crisps!!

Last year I make the pesto puffa sty Christmas tree from something I saw on Facebook..
It went down an absolute treat!!

i really like milton garlic crackers from tesco with smokey cheese and cherry tomato's so good

plain pulled pork good for a buffet. In a slow cooker add 1 chopped onion,250ml hot water mixed witha chickenoxo, pork shoulder low 8-10hrs or high 6-8.Take it all out, remove skin and return meat to slow cooker to be shredded.Add back some meat juices to keep moist

Then people can add the pork to bread rolls with a sauce of their choice.Do a buffet with sauce/sides like apple sauce, reggie reggie, hoisin, guacamole, coleslaw, mayo, crisps, tortia chips

you can also make slow cooker lasagna for a buffet or curry

iceland party food is also really good

good selection of drinks from juices to fizzy pop

devilled eggs
