Elf on the shelp

Im doing elf on the ahelf this year and have been looking at sum ideas on line but wondered if any mummsnetters have had sucess with their elf and also where can you get the cute props to fit the elfs size iyswim like mini chairs ect?

My best one was when Ds1 was 11 and therefore knew the Elf was placed by me and Dh and yet Ds2 was still believing.

I pin him like he is climbing up the curtain! So he is on the front of the curtain and is pinned from behind to the curtain (we have eyelet curtains so he clings to the fold)

Ds1 was desperate to figure out how he was doing it, just hanging half way up. Grin He kept saying how real it looked.

Dolls house furniture works well for props.

I performed some serious surgery on my elf to make him bendable by inserting wires into his arms, legs and down his back. There are lots of instructions on how to do this but he isn't well made in the first place (cardboard tube with stuffing for his torso) so it felt precarious and I did it in the summer in case I needed to order another one.
