Where the F*** am I supposed to be put it all?

My children got a ridiculous amount of stuff this year and it is currently COVERING the living room floor, most of kitchen and both of their bedrooms.

DD went down to her Dads last night so will come back tonight with even more.

Does anyone have any brilliant storage solutions. I cant imagine the house ever being tidy again!

I've been rounding stuff up and putting it away - have decided i can't bear all those individual piles of everyones presents. So new duvet covers are in the washing machine and then on the DCs beds tonight. DHs wok and other kitchen pressies are unwrapped washed and put away ready to be used. Everyone else's bits are in their rooms. Looking better already

Same as OP. Think will have to go through and get rid of old toys. Will also have to buy a new box for the Underground bloody Ernie set as the engine sheds are so fragile if we put them in with anything else they will get broken. Am composing an outraged letter to Beeb and manufacturers in my head...

I sorted out on xmas eve, and filled two black sacks with old broken toys and cleared space for the new ones. Anything fragile or with lots of little bits is in the cupboard under the stairs.
