Turkey Crown prices

Help! I ordered a turkey crown for 6 people and small gammon from our butcher ages ago. Because we go there weekly he was happy for me to settle the bill on Christmas Eve.

Problem is I've no idea how much it's likely to cost and we are on a tiny budget. We've stuck to a budget and have £20 left.

My turkey crown is £30 but that is from waitrose, and my gammon was on a special offer from netto a few weeks ago.
It's likely to come to more than £20 though.

I'd say more than £20 as well.

We bought a turkey crown from tesco for 6 people for £13. I'm not sure if a butcher would be cheaper or more expensive....!

I agree it will be probably be more than £20 Sad - I bought a reduced one from a supermarket the other day and put it in the freezer.

Could you give him a ring and ask. I'd be surprised if a turkey crown and gammon is less than £20

our local buthers I got a medium turkey crown and a salmon cut of beef for £25 - just give them a ring, make it seem like you're just checking to know how much money to take with you or something

I used to pay about £35 for a crown from my butcher and maybe £10 for the ham.

Thanks ladies. Flowers The ham is what they normally sell so are happy just to put it back. The crown is £30 but DH has reminded me he gets paid on Christmas Eve so it should be ok.
