Sounds lovely, but why have you unexpectedly bought for them?

Hero1callylost · 22/12/2015 17:54

Of course it's okay, as long as they're not tee total!

They have taken in so many parcels for me i wanted to get them something. They also bought the kids selection boxes a couple of year ago.

Is it wrong that i have?? Confused

Sounds lovely OP, I'd be really happy to receive a nice unexpected gift like that

Floggingmolly · 22/12/2015 18:09

That's a lovely thought, op. They'll be delighted Smile

Sonicandknuckles · 22/12/2015 18:09

Thank you all for the reassurance! I hope they do like it, and dont think its odd of me to buy for them

Are you my neighbour? I hope so!

hellhasnofurylikeahungrywoman · 22/12/2015 19:54

I take in lots of parcels for my neighbours because my shifts mean I am home a lot and I would be delighted to receive champagne for doing so (but I don't expect a gift if you know what I mean). It's a lovely, Christmassy thing to do [santa]

Stickerrocks · 22/12/2015 19:55

Nothing wrong, but I was wondering if there was a lovely back story, such as they bought you a random National Lottery ticket to thank you for looking after their cat & you had won £10k.

Sonicandknuckles · 22/12/2015 20:14

Ha that would be an amazing gift, a winning ticket!

Do i give it on christmas eve so not to disturb their christmas day?

My neighbour just gave me a box of quality streets for taking delivery of her post etc and I wasn't expecting it. I was well chuffed. So I think your neighbours will be very happy

Stickerrocks · 22/12/2015 20:56

Christmas Eve, so they can chill it for the next day.

eastwest · 22/12/2015 21:01

I think that's lovely. I'm sure they will be really pleased :)

LynetteScavo · 22/12/2015 21:07

It's perfect (unless they don't drink! Grin) take it round on Christmas Eve.
