I have 2 drinks parties next week one for a few couples and the other for some mumsnetters.I want to make the canapes for both in one big go so need some that I can do on Tuesday that will be ok for Wednesday too

imo you just cannot beat decent quality smoked salmon on fresh brown bread and butter, with black pepper and lemon wedges

my fave would have to be vol-au-vents with either egg mayo or prawn and marie rose sauce.

little red sweet peppers,you buy them in a jar.They are round about the size of a 2p or smaller.Just fill with cream cheese and a sprig of dill or something similar.
