You may well do this if already you have one, but this has improved my evening - Realised that I don't need to battle under/around the sofa/tree/cat/toddler to turn the lights on and off. Remote control plugs are the way forward. I fear there may be christmas light wars as well as TV channel disputes as my husband and I battle for control of the remotes!
