Japanese Sweets, is this a thing!

DD has put "Japanese sweets" on her Christmas wish list.
NO idea what she means.
Is this a thing I don't know about?
If so, can anyone point me in the right direction of where I can purchase such delights?
Thanks!

Cyber Candy have shops in a few cities (London, Brighton and Birmingham I think) and sell international sweets, including Japanese. I think they sell online too.

Amazon do some pretty cool Japanese sweets and candies.

R0nj0n yes its the kawaii box I get, but the Japanese sweets box isn't linked on their website, they mention it in all of the emails though

I ordered some sweets including the DIY ones from a website called
Tofucute, I think, recently as stocking fillers for DD 11. They came very quickly and well packaged.
