Which sauce??

I've been relegated to Christmas Eve dinner this year as MIL is doing the main event!

I'm going to do nigella Coca-Cola ham, dauphinois potatoes, and veg which is yet to be decided. What sauce would you serve with the ham? I'm thinking something fruity to lift it but not sure what?

Lovely MIL has said she will do Christmas dinner as DS2 is only 10 week old but I'm secretly gutted as I love cooking and Christmas dinner has become "my thing" so I'm doing everything from scratch for Christmas Eve to pacify myself and try and stop myself from interfering on Christmas Day

Could you offer to make the desserts for Xmas day, then you'd not have the stress on the day, but could make something really nice from scratch a day or two before?
