7 yr old girl gift

I am doing the donate a gift thing this year and have been given a 7 yr old girl to buy for.
My kids are younger then that so I'm stumped.

Playmobil has been suggested. Horse type stuff as that's quite neutral (not too girly but girly enough)
Or shopkins (I don't know what this is?!?)

Anyone have any ideas please?

Budget £15-20

Nice onesie?

OrionsAccessory · 30/11/2015 16:29

I'd go with playmobil or Lego or art stuff

My 7yr old (and her friends) are into Stationary and note books etc.
Any funky pens/pencils etc Love anything from Smiggle.

Stationary of any description. Pencil cases, scented rubbers, marker pens, highlighters, pretty notebooks (owl motifs are a favourite here). Most 7yo girls I know want it to be a bit more grown up, so not too princessy. A pretty diary, maybe with a lock.

A lottie doll? My Dd wants one. Also roller skates (although I don't know how much they cost)

Absolutely anything from Smiggle as pp suggests. Blott brand is also popular (rubbers, notepads etc.). A set of Smencils (scented pencils). Pretty knickers. Hair things. Anything from Claire's Accessories. Secret diary. Small something from Body Shop (e.g. shampoo). Good stickers, like the ones with google eyes on.

I asked for suggestions for a 7 year old on the Christmas bargains thread and some of the suggestions were My Little Pony, Ever After High, Build a Bear, there were a couple of other suggestions that I'll post when I remember them!

reni2 · 30/11/2015 22:20

Mine would be horrified at My Little Pony. "It's for babies" apparently (at least the cartoon).

grumpysquash · 30/11/2015 22:22

I agree, My Little Pony was a popular gift in the year before they started school (i.e. 4th birthday). Build a bear similar, but probably still OK at 7.

Thanks for suggestions.
I think we're gonna go with playmobil and maybe pad it out with some notebooks and things then.

No time to order from smiggle I'm afraid. I've left it til the the last minute as usual
