Looking for really beautiful tree decorations

I haven't bought any new decorations for years excluding the year I did some serious poncing and filled some clear ones with snow and miniature letters to Santa and the tree needs a refresh.

I want quality over quantity and something a bit special but not stupidly expensive. I've bought a few from Rockett St George, had a look on NOTHS but their search drives me crazy. Any suggestions for where else I can try?

Tk maxx and Home sense!! Have to give yourself some time for a good look, but some things are really different/nice. We bought a couple of individual items and a few sets of baubbles. X

If you want really nice ones, Alessi make them and Halcyon Days have gorgeous ones in special offer right now. Also some Liberty ones but lots can be obtained elsewhere

I have some lovely glass ones from Laura Ashley, they usually have them on 3 for 2.

We got most of ours from Christmas markets in Germany & Holland, on holiday one year. It might work out a bit expensive per item though. I did actually ditch some clothes do we could bring them back safely, plus several packs of the wonderful lebkuchen.

Do you have a decent continental Christmas market near you? Might be worth a look.

I would ditch everything for lebkuchen and decorations.

We aren't too far from Birmingham and I do like mulled wine so a market trip might be in order.

I've also checked out Plumo, Cox and Cox, Graham and Green, Rose and Grey and found a lovely website called Nkuku which has some nice antique style baubles.

What do you call stupidly expensive £10 ? £30? £70?

Was just having a browse. Nobody does Christmas like Germany! Beautiful hand carved wooden ones that you can put a tealight in.

Oh, I did buy my Mum a beautiful Emma Bridgwater one one Christmas.

Something else I always do, is look on sites like Cox and Cox, then find exactly the same thing for a lot less on ebay!

My local garden centre usually has a good Christmas section and they always have some lovely things.

Was going to say Cox & Cox but see you've already looked - also White Company? To be honest everywhere is good this year - have seen some lovely things in M&S, JL, even Matalan. I vowed not to buy any more as we have decorations coming out of our ears (or at least, out of our under-stairs cupboard...) but there are so many nice ones this year!
