Last year I got my SS the little gift box of Chanel nail varnishes, which (I thought anyway!) was quite a good gift.

My SS this year is not really into make up, quite outdoorsy. Budget £20.

I'll wrack my brains to solve your dilemmas if you help me solve mine! [santa]

£20 is a lot!!!

Wellie warmers/ lovely warm socks / hipflask and a couple of miniature bottles of something warming / leather gloves / scarf / book about walks in your area / flask and hot choc and posh teabags

BonitaFangita · 21/11/2015 18:23

Wow LouLou, that is a lot.

What about a hat, scarf or some gloves. This looks like a nice idea

Do they like gardening, or have any pets?
I'm after a gift for a young man, early twenties who works in a different department. I've spoken to him about three time and hardly know anything about him! He's quite well groomed, but other than that I have no idea.
I love doing SS though and trying to think of something just right for my receiver.

Young man - budget? Cufflinks? Bow tie?

DragonsCanHop · 21/11/2015 18:41

Bonita Costa voucher? New tie?

I have a lovely lady, mid forties, not sure what her interests are outside of work, she has two young boys, not really in to make up - I'm stumped!

SouthWestmom · 21/11/2015 18:45

I refuse to do secret Santa again this year after my ss recipient had a face like sucked lemons and showed her friend in a totally pissed off fashion during the group 'share'
She was quite young but from a different work place so no idea what she expected.

Alphabet mugs are my default SS gift. Depending on budget, I'd add posh hot choc/flake, coffee/syrup, biscuits, etc.

For £20 for an outdoorsy person, I'd get some super warm socks from Smartwool. These are my favourites Very warm, I have several colours.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 21/11/2015 18:52

Coffee voucher a v good idea.

Tiger have lovely, v cheap, alphabet mugs.

LouLouLockets · 21/11/2015 18:54

Starbucks vouchers are my default with twenty somethings, I agree. Posh hot chocolate sounds good for my SS, I do think she has a sweet tooth!

40s lady - really good handcream and a funky nail varnish

cece · 21/11/2015 19:11

For £20 I'd like some really nice running socks or running clothes of some sort. Or a yoga vest top.

BonitaFangita · 21/11/2015 19:18

Thanks all, our budget is £10. I know he doesn't drink coffee, whenever he's been in the office when I do the drinks rounds he has herbal tea. Cuff links sounds a good idea, I'll have to do some snooping, find out what he likes.

Noeuf that's rotten, I though SS gift were just supposed to be a bit of fun. What a mean thing for your receiver to do.

Dragons what's your budget? how about a mug for the office? Or a pretty scarf? chocolate and wine are always popular.

Just been on on the highstreet there are some unusual gift ideas on there.

DragonsCanHop · 21/11/2015 19:52

It's meant to be £5 but I don't mind spending £10 because she is lovely.

Last year I had the office bitch. She hated our charity of the year - whizz Kidz so I made her a voucher donating her £5 to the charity I'm not normally spiteful but she was so nasty and luckily doesn't work with us anymore.

Bimblywibbler · 21/11/2015 21:23

Loulou, how about a buff
