DS has Fitbit charge her and I've bought DH one for bday. I do think they are lacking in that they just track steps and not gps it... So you can't see where you've been! However, I like the idea of th m having little competitions and I'd be up for having entry level Fitbit to join in. (Not bothered by hr or sleep monitor) will stick to my garmin when running.

needyounow · 18/11/2015 22:25

I am happy too pick up a Mog toy from my local Sainsbury's and post it too anyone that is struggling to get one?
Just let me know and I will be there tomorrow morning so will check stock then.

Romcom · 18/11/2015 22:29

nomanjan I got an engraved wooden Xmas dec for grandparents from my kids, engraved with 'grandma' and 'grandad' respectively, they are beautiful and arrived within a few days. Credit to someone on here linking a few threads back. I can't find them on eBay now, they were £2.50 each, but the seller was shadowwooddesigns

mrslebon I'm hitting m and s on Friday, how do you get 20% off, or is it automatic? vainly hopes they will still have advent calendars

fairyjasmine · 18/11/2015 22:31

Just tried opening a new Very account but the code doesn't seem to be working for me.

mrslebon · 18/11/2015 22:35

Romcom - I believe they are posting vouchers out. I haven't received any so I'm not sure who is going to be receiving them. I'd say M&S cardholders but I am one! There's still time for them to arrive of course.

caffeineanddryshampoo · 18/11/2015 22:39

I can't get the feelunique 10MSE25 code to work

RJnomore1 · 18/11/2015 22:41

It finished weeks ago caffeine, it was only live for a weekend.

SpaghettiMeatballs · 18/11/2015 22:56

Marks place

JaquelineHyde · 18/11/2015 23:22

So I am on the downward slope of present buying, only my Dad to buy for as an essential gift, but I have a few bonus presents for the children that I would like to pick up if I can get them at bargainous prices.

I'm pretty bloody chuffed that it's done but I do now have to post it all which is going to be sooo expensive Sad

Now the food shopping...It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

Chocolateteabag · 18/11/2015 23:24

NoManJan - do you have a ceramic cafe nearby? I've done footprints on mugs and finger prints on ceramic stars (which they cleverly turn into Santa/snowman/ Christmas tree and add neat writing with name and dates) for presents from DS1 to GP's before never bothered with DS2

NoManJan · 18/11/2015 23:51

Oh I love the idea of Xmas decorations and footprints on ceramics, just the kind of thing I think would go down well. Thank you Romcom and Chocolateteabag

OvO · 19/11/2015 00:06

I missed the whole last thread. Xmas Shock

I'm almost finished, just need stuff for the Christmas Eve box, so I should probably stay away from this thread too. Xmas Grin

Chillywhippet · 19/11/2015 00:11

Nomanjan I have some nice photo frame tree decs which would be nice with a photo of your DD in to
mark 1st Christmas. They were a present so can't do a link.

yumyumpoppycat · 19/11/2015 00:17

This is a bargain, amazon deal of the day -tangled, little mermaid, snow white and sleeping beauty £14.99

Pobspits · 19/11/2015 01:07

Aldi had statuonery sets in for £1 today - got ds a Star Wars one and Dd a disney princess one no gender stereotyping in this house

My sister can be a pain but has bought my dc 2 mogs so I am being tolerant!!! Dd already loves the Mog books and I've bought the Christmas one even though I said no more twitching but I'm not sure ds will really want a Mog but then if he does and I can't get one......

Anyone got any ideas for Dh I know it's been done loads - have got him a wallet ninja, Kevin bridges dvd and Scotland rugby top. He loves stone roses but I couldn't get tickets and can't afford the inflated resale prices :( otherwise he likes all the britpop era of music, he travels a lot with work, likes action films - what's been out this year at the cinema we might've missed??, likes football, isn't into male grooming other than the basics....

Romcom · 19/11/2015 06:22

Can anyone remember when snap fish usually do their amazing deals on calendars please?

LovelyWeatherForDucks · 19/11/2015 06:32

Anyone on a Mog hunt, they seem quite good on Facebook at replying about stock. Also IMO the plush non-Sains Mogs sold in waterstones etc are much nicer quality!

For cheap and cheerful pressies from small DC I am attempting to make these - theimaginationtree.com/2010/10/salt-dough-handprints.html

LovelyWeatherForDucks · 19/11/2015 06:35

Also I've just bought this Scalextric-style set for my F1 loving DDad to play with his grandchildren, it has generally good reviews and box looks fab www.argos.co.uk/m/static/Product/partNumber/3925807/searchTerm/Carrera.htm

DuckDuckMongoose · 19/11/2015 06:43

Pigleychez How about something from White One Sugar He does modern railway style prints/cards - maybe of somewhere they've visited?

I bought one as a gift and it's lovely [santa]

Trumpton · 19/11/2015 07:02

M&S 20% off as mentioned up thread 19th to 23rd. If you have a Sparks card it is already loaded with the discount. Just present it in store to get 20% off. Better than those pesky paper vouchers!

Chocolateteabag · 19/11/2015 07:08

Lovelyweather - I did salt dough hearts with pre school kids last year
Biggest too I can give is don't go for too high a heat when drying them or they will go yellow/brown
Apart from that unused mix will keep for a while in the fridge wrapped up and there are loads of ideas on Pinterest too (dip in dinosaurs feet for tracks etc)

spub · 19/11/2015 07:48

The white company have sent me a £10 voucher. I get one most years but do spend a fair bit stockpiling winter candles from September onwards.... Was in with latest catalogue Grin

TheDrsDocMartens · 19/11/2015 07:52

My Geek box is coming today!
The DHL parcel turned out to be an Amazon one Hmm

ItStillLooksLikeRainDear · 19/11/2015 07:53

pob how about a date night voucher - you could organise a babysitter sometime over the Christmas period and take DH to the cinema to see either the new star wars or James bond movie?

BaBaBaBoomBoom · 19/11/2015 08:12

Place mark until I find a bargain to report!
