Just twitched again and bought Playmobil 123 large zoo for £14.59. It is for my twin nephews who I had already bought for, but that present will now wait until their birthday in April.

Can't believe how much I, I mean children children love Playmobil Blush

SconeForAStroll · 21/11/2015 19:28

Does she like cats Reastie?

we have this one it's cheaper via prime on Amazon if you have that.

Basically you put the coin on the little plate and the cat pops up and slides a paw out to steal it...its made my DC much keener on saving!

GardenWorm · 21/11/2015 19:29

I'm pretty sure last year (or the year before?) someone posted a website that sells cheap back copies of current magazines? Thinking of padding out stockings but can't remember the name or find it. Any ideas or have I made it upHmm

Gardenworm There's a stall on our local market that sells cheap copies of old magazines - if you can't find the site, you might get lucky with a market stall locally...

And mummy23kids (I think!) if you're looking for good Christmas movies - can highly recommend Tom and Jerry's A Nutcracker Tale - you can usually get it new for about £3 on Amazon or at the supermarket... Great for all ages Xmas Grin

Theonlyoneiknow · 21/11/2015 20:01

I have a tricky secret santa this year. Budget £15 - teacher who enjoys baking. I did spy a slow cooker for that price and know they want one but don't think I could give a kitchen thing as a secret santa! Has anyone seen any nice scarves??
TIA!!

Romcom · 21/11/2015 20:03

NorbertDentressangle · 21/11/2015 20:08

I've seen lots of mentions of My Little Ponies but not sure if this has been mentioned but Hawkins Bazaar had lots of Ty MLPs in store today ranging from £4 IIRC for ones on a key ring type clip up to about £8. Loads of different ones.

I had a look on the website but couldn't see them on there

ToddlerTantrums · 21/11/2015 20:19

It's probably already been mentioned but BHS have Christmas stuff on sale, hampers etc 25-50% off

RevealTheHiddenBeach · 21/11/2015 20:22

I'd say go for the slow cooker! It's always a nice surprise to get something that you'd actually really like in a Secret santa!

Pigleychez · 21/11/2015 20:29

Cookie- Congrats on mini cookie :)

Amyone after photo gifts- Snapfish are doing Photopanels for £5 at the mo.

Postman turned up today with a plastic crate of 7 different parcels for me! Too many bargains! Blush

purplepandas · 21/11/2015 20:32

I bought this Lego City Police Unit in my local Sainsbos today for £15. Usually £24 -30 quid. In store only though as £30 online for Sainsbos.

IAmAPaleontologist · 21/11/2015 20:34

Argh, bloody kids! Finally got them to do their letters to Father Christmas so i can get the stockings finished. Several threads ago you were all talking about octonaut bargains and I thought "oh no, I don't think I'll want more octonauts stuff" because we have a good tub full of it. But what has ds2 put on his list? The gup h, gup d and the octomax suit . I need to google, I think he already has those gups but he's 3 so not particularly reliable.

Ds1 almost said he doesn't believe in Father Christmas today. Not quite admitting it yet though, think he's a bit worried he might not get presents if he says he isn't real!

Pigleychez · 21/11/2015 20:35

Theonlyoneiknow
DD's teacher loves baking and she bought her a personalised Wooden spoon for xmas last year.. She loved it!

flatmouse · 21/11/2015 20:45

smurfy I had one of those! Not thing useful to add tho I'm sure I saw them last year! (Not helpful)

imip · 21/11/2015 20:47

I posted the cheap magazine back issue website last year, but I cannot remember what the site was!

I found it in a page if one of the kid's magazines. Probably one if the publisher's names? If anyone happens yo flick through a copy, it may be there? I know it included copies of mile the knight, horrible histories and bob the builder.
