The M and S advent calendar coming back into stock yesterday was great so I spent the £25 on some skincare bits I needed anyway and await the delights of the advent calendar. Are they all the same? Are any bits suitable for presents i.e. popping a few in a nice Magpie washbag?

poosey that's what I'm trying to find out. I haven't even received my box yet despite ordering on 13th but despite emailing loads of times they keep sending crappy replies that don't answer my question or let me know how to make sure no further money is taken. Wish I'd never signed up to them now.

harrumph. Beware- if you use doubledboosty vouchers to order from tesco, and then change your mind and cancel the order, you don't immediately get the vouchers back (think you get the points back, but they're not vouchers yet, IYSWIM. I changed my mind about a playmobil thing I'd ordered when I noticed the hotel was so cheap and boostable, but despite cancelling I now don't have enough vouchers to pay for it. Admittedly its only cost me £22 towards it, but it would have cost me £8 (which is what I told DH it was going to cost...). (This thread has made me greeeedy for bargains!)

I am trying to bring myself round to do more Christmas shopping but cannot take my eyes of DD2 who arrived safely on Thursday. Just had to share...

Re Geekbox - I deleted my payment card then sent them a message via the contact centre thing to say that following the disappointing contents I wished to cancel any further subscription with immediate effect. Got a message back to say it would be done. My account still says I'm getting the welcome box though... It's part of the Hut Group so not a small company.

They had lots of the advent calendars at Pudsey Owlcoates today. They had lots of offers on the beauty stuff too- 342, 50% off and then a further 20% off with Sparks card, so you only needed to spend £20 to get the calendar.

I am half way through the pre Christmas de-clutter but got distracted by Argos 3for2. For any MLP fans Argos sell both blind bags and fashems (sp?). I got three of each for £10. Ideal for advent calendar and stockings.
