DS has asked for games -Question regarding App permissions

DS1 aged 5 has asked for games he can play on the hudl as part of his Christmas present.

My knowledge of computers isn't what it was and I've noticed that the apps ask for various permissions, some of which sound quite intrusive. Which permissions I should look out for and avoid giving when selecting games?

Any help would be much appreciated

Hudl has been discontinued, so I wouldn't bother buying any for it

Hull is just an Android device. One of many many many Android devices.

Why stop buying Apps for it?
