My nearly 3 year old boy loves his cars. I'm looking to get him a garage as part of his christmas presents. I've looked on amazon, early learning centre and toy r us but they all look naff or don't have great reviews. Does anybody has an other suggestions where i can get a decent sturdy garage?

Ds has a, I think, Le toy van one his grandparents bought. Definitely sturdy and well made.

We had one from Germany , bought from Amazon.de , it was great, will try to find the name .

Do foreign amazons have different products on offer then?

It was a wader garage, they are on Amazon UK but sometimes cheaper on the German site . We also had a lovely wooden one but it didn't get played with very much, my dcs seem to like plastic .

Ah thanks Frazzled Found them on amazon. They look more like it. Why don't they come up when you look up in amazon!

It definitely was a good buy, and every child that came to visit played with it.

We have the wooden ELC one. It's been played with solidly since last Christmas and is in great condition. Only thing is it needs assembled, though I seem to remember it not taking too long to build.

last years version of this, £30.

DS loves the Hape garage they have at nursery and it gets good reviews. The price does seem to vary a lot so definitely one to research before buying.

I would ideally like to get a wooden one. I saw that one on the early learning centre website but was put off by the reviews people saying the bridge was not attached properly and kept falling off.....

Thanks for heads up on GLTC Nanasue will take a look.
