Please recommend a tablet

For a 7 year old.

Had decided on amazon fire but worried it won't have the apps he'd want. Like you tube & mine craft.

Not tech savvy so advise appreciated.

Must have 8 inch screen.

No advice but jumping on board your thread if that's OK as I'm in the same boat? I'm stuck between Kindle fire and the exorbitant alternative of IPad mini 2!

I'm Def not going with apple.

But still confused grrrrrr

it has mine craft but not sure about easy access of u tube, its been mentinmed on another thread about this.

You can get mine craft on the fire and you can get a YouTube video app, doesn't allow you to sign in to your YouTube account but you can search and watch as many videos as you want. Other than the fire now the hudls gone there's Samsung/Asus/nexus etc android tablets.

You can buy the Spidotech Sleek W1. Features are pretty much the same and costs just £35.99. I have also bought this tablet and trust me its performance is quite good.
