il probably come on here when im bored of playing with kids toys

SantasPersonalClown · 07/12/2006 20:34

Big family time (hoo-bloody-ray..not) so not show for me, or boxing day. Maybe I'll appear on the 27th to announce my birthday or something equally as shallow!!

snowydelight · 07/12/2006 21:07

I would imagine it will be busy with "I am about to strange my MIL" threads, one of which I can practically guarantee will be started by me

snowydelight · 07/12/2006 21:07

That would of course be strangle

santasaltire · 07/12/2006 21:09

yes snowy, and we will all be posting similar threads, with slightly dodgy typing, due to us drinking copious amoutns of booze to deal with our MILs.
Did that make sense?
I may pop on at some time, as i usually email my cousin in Oz.

Monkeytrousers · 07/12/2006 21:15

Just thesame in my experence..maybe traffic a bit slower at MN Towers..but you know, one can't talk to everyone all of the time

ImaVeryMerryChristmasFairy · 07/12/2006 21:19

Right, am willing to risk the wrath of everyone now......
Unless you have a SERIOUS ISSUE on Christmas day, turn your goddamn pc off and spend time with your RL family and friends.
MN is great, but it ain't flesh and blood (sorry MNTowers, but you know what I mean )

Monkeytrousers · 07/12/2006 21:20

[big festive rasberry blow to Xmas fairy)

UniSarah · 07/12/2006 21:24

I'm another in the will be needing to escape teh MiL camp. I've got 2 more weeks to work out what my excuse is ... maybe some american friends to wish happy chritmas too etc.

BudaBauble · 07/12/2006 21:27

I won't be here as will be away for 2 weeks from 20th and prob won't have access unless I am sad enough to go to an internet cafe!

SlightlyMadSanta · 07/12/2006 22:49

Out of interest I have just found out that there were 363 posts on 25/12/05. I am not sure how that compares to a normal dat as the search doesn't tell you how many posts there are if there are more than 500

JackieNoHoHo · 07/12/2006 22:50

I'll be trying to come on to find out what WigWamBam's MIL gave her this year. Can she top last year's half a loofah and the previous year's 37 metres of elastic?

ledodgychristmasjumper · 07/12/2006 22:53

I bet there'll be a tukey panic thread again!

JollyOldSaintNikkielas · 07/12/2006 22:55

Won't it be the other half of the loofah?

I will come here in the evening as I won't have anyone to talk to then and I won't want to clean up yet!

JanH · 07/12/2006 23:07

IME it is pretty dead here right over C'mas, I'm afraid (except for Boxing Day 2 years ago when lou33 was in Thailand with her family and a lot of very anxious posting went on - I almost completely ignored my SIL & BIL when they came over, how rude )

All the Kiwi's and Aussie's are on cos it's not xmas anymore there!

FLAMEinEckItsWiiDay · 08/12/2006 13:17

I'll be about in the evening probably... or maybe not - DH gets a new pc game

Christmas evening for us is normally wind down - family is dispersed, children in bed, and we tootle off to play with our new toys (he normally gets xbox stuff, but with the wii today he'll be leaning towards new pc game), and I am either online or readin a new book.
