How about a children's easel? It's big so has the wow factor and has longevity. You could get some paints, brushes, pots etc and some chalks if you get one with a chalkboard on.

myotherusernameisbetter · 31/10/2015 14:24

What about a ride-on thing or strider bike that would look a lot for not a big outlay?

myotherusernameisbetter · 31/10/2015 14:25

ah, just saw you had a scuttlebug.

d270r0 · 31/10/2015 14:33

Sounds loads already to me! I would say you really don't need more, a 22 month old will be very happy with all that. Besides if you had paid full price for all that toot toot stuff you what have spent a lot! If you do want more, I'd just get some books or maybe jigsaws.

Mr potatohead is popular with my just 2 year old. Also play food - the wooden stuff which is velcroed together and they can 'slice' it with a knife.

The Weebledown tractor is well made and the farm weebles are better quality than the peppa ones.

These solid paints are good for little hands.

Lucked · 31/10/2015 14:42

Also new cutlery, drinks bottles in favourite character.

What are you getting your 4 year old?

HerdOfRhino · 31/10/2015 16:46

Just place marking for ideas....Although I do agree d27.

You got a right bargain there getting that toot toot stuff for £20! Smile

Funkymusic · 01/11/2015 19:17

Thanks for all the ideas so far there great!

I always try and get all toys second hand but thats my best bargin ever they look brand new and got lots of cars with them.

My 4 year old has a huge castle and a massive fire engine and a few super hero playsets again all second hand but has asked for all the paw patrol vehicles which i cannot find anywhere second hand and there sooo expensive.

Funky try aliexpress for paw patrol.

Well done on toot toot bargains I got the garage n 2 vehicles for £10 for baby first birthday in few weeks and thought that was a bargain.

Floggingmolly · 02/11/2015 10:29

Concentrate on the stuff your 4 year old has asked for; the toddler has more than enough and won't know the difference anyway Confused

Funkymusic · 02/11/2015 18:05

I know what you mean floggy i just feel like im being unfair
