My son was born last December. I'm usually a total Christmas freak.... But I was so unwell that I didn't even have a decoration out ... I don't think I had Xmas dinner either.

My friend reckons this is his first Christmas....

Why am I even over thinking this!!!!

Is it ok to have baby's first Christmas or has that passed now

If you were so unwell that last Christmas was awful, technically it won't be your baby's first Christmas but I say celebrate as if it was!

Of course it's ok! My DD was born on 22nd December so that first Christmas was a bit hectic. We didn't manage to get any special things for her (wasn't due until January) and when the next Christmas came along, MIL asked if we minded her getting some first Christmas things that year instead. They don't really know what's happening so it doesn't really matter when you bought first Christmas decorations!
