What are you getting your DHs this year? Am stumped, as always!

Karcher pressure washer

attheendoftheday · 24/10/2015 19:06

Fake goat's horns and 40 synthetic dreadlocks. But we have a fairly niche hobby!

SymphonyofShadows · 24/10/2015 21:18

I might get him a pair of those DM's for life. They are quite a lot to pay up front but they will repair/replace them as long as he owns them.

blahblahblah2000 · 24/10/2015 21:44

I'm not sure but am doing an "advent calender" that is actually a case of beer labelled with a beer a day until Christmas.

shitebag · 24/10/2015 21:51

A passport so we can go on holiday next year, he's getting me the same .

We don't really do gifts for each other though so its basically a way of justifying the cost to ourselves :o

Beth2511 · 24/10/2015 22:18

Beats, coupke of ps4 games, jurrasic world box set, football shirt and a cadbury hamper.

Only1scoop · 24/10/2015 22:19

Nothing

Dd will pick a little something I suppose

averylongtimeago · 24/10/2015 22:31

The same as the last 35 years - a book, a joke and a jumper. He gets me whatever my daughter thinks I would like and he gives her the money.

Pranmasghost · 24/10/2015 22:35

A second hand book (A E Mason Omnibus) and a model plane. He'd like a print of the Patricia Baynes map of Middle Earth but I can't find one.

Boredofthinkingofnewnames · 24/10/2015 22:55

Cycling shit. Pedals and a gear or something - I don't understand.

daisydalrymple · 24/10/2015 22:58

RJnomaaaaaargh · 25/10/2015 00:39

annandale · 25/10/2015 00:41

A belt.

Grin attheend.

Kuriusoranj · 25/10/2015 01:10

Go pro. I've found him easier this year than normal.

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 25/10/2015 07:14

He's so hard to buy for!! I was really excited with a deal on the bargin thread for a cycling jacket but then the Scrooges said there was a fault on the website and they were OOS. So far I've got him some clothes, some audio books for the car and I'm thinking of a new tens machine as his is broken. Also he wants some visor thing for his TT helmet and I was thinking of a cheese hamper. Will be following this for ideas.

ArthurChristmas · 25/10/2015 07:36

Only flaviar whiskey samples so far and I'm not that impressed, really small . They might even go in the stocking so I am currently toy stumped. He also cycles but it is a world I neither understand or can buy for, there are special brands for everything, lo behold if you go 'off brand'. Grin

TheVeryHungryPreggo · 25/10/2015 10:12

Mary Beard's new book on Ancient Rome, a couple of nice jumpers for work and a shirt in a style that flatters his shape. If we successfully manage to move house by then, I'll buy him a PS4.

Littlemousewithcloggson · 25/10/2015 13:10

Tickets to a sporting event, wrapped up with a sporting book.
(Last year was tickets to the mouse trap with an Agatha Christie book!)
DD1 is giving him a shower gel set and a sports direct voucher.
DD2 is giving him a book voucher and chocolates

Mama1980 · 25/10/2015 13:14

SymphonyOfShadows, you are my new favourite person :) dm for life are gonna be the perfect present for one of my brothers thanks a million!

ObiWanCannoli · 25/10/2015 13:27

I've found dh a mighty wallet bought from Amazon.com featuring the new design with the female marvel characters and I'm also buying a silicone wedding band which I'm quite excited about.

Dcs are buying him a selection of vegan Christmas beers, a vegan beard keepers kits, some Star Wars books one for origami and a one of flying planes and a Bobba Fet dressing gown.

It's your typical vegan - geeky Christmas.

This year has been easier than usual, most years I'm stuck.

Palomb · 25/10/2015 14:02

Possibly an iwatch. He is incredibly difficult to buy for :(

OneMoreForExtra · 25/10/2015 14:10

Cyclist spouses: my solution to being unable to penetrate the techno issues to do with buying actual kit is to buy tickets to see events at the Velodrome - check out the website if you're within reach of London.

SymphonyofShadows · 25/10/2015 16:42

Mama not problem! We love our Docs in this house, I am obsessing over Marceline ones from Adventure Time
