Hi I have a DD who'll be 3 months at christmas. I already have a DS (3yrs) so basically have most of the baby/infant toys you get, ie rings, cups, shape sorter, rattles etc and shed loads of soft toys.
Does anyone have a good idea what I can get my DD for christmas?
The one thing I've come up with is a silver charm bracelet with the ides of adding charm every so often and adding links as she grows. My only problem with this is not sure if silly to get for baby and might be better doing when older.
What does any one think.
Thanks

Charm bracelet sounds a bit worrying in that bits could fall off and be a choking hazard - I'd leave that until she's older and would really enjoy it.

I'd get her some lovely baby books with flaps to lift, which will encourage her to reach out for things (and this is the sort of thing that gets trashed after a while so does need replacing). My DS lov es "Peepo Teddy" (a cloth one), Dear Zoo and the "amazing baby" ones.

we are not buying ds2, who will also be 3 months, anything this year.

Have posted this before but I got my 2nd and 3rd children a nice book (like a £20 hardback, nursery rhymes, Shirley Hughes, fairy stories) and wrote in it.

We still look at them.

Well - really a three month old needs nothing. This is the time when the wrapping paper is the best gift ever! But if you want to buy her something - buy a girlie toy that comes into its own about 12 month+

No idea what - I have two boys. bound to be something soft and pink.

hi thanks for suggestions. Had thought about not getting anything too but decided a wee token thing would be nice. Idea of charm bracelet was something she could have when older but sort of start it off now by buying first charm, but realise this is completely daft and was more for me than DD.
Like Idea of book. Goodness knows why I never thought of that myself considering my DS has extensive book collection.

Thanks everyone off to do some book shopping
