where do you hide yours?

Just wondering where you all hide your gifts, especially for the kids. Until now, we always had a spare room on a third floor which the kids couldn't access as there was a stair gate. It was perfect for hiding pressies and even doing all the wrapping. This year we have moved and I am unsure where to put everything out of the way of the 3 kiddies. So, hoping for inspiration, where do you put yours?

So far this year what I've bought is in a really large bag ontop of mine and DH's wardrobe.

We still have loads more to get though(we have 5DC)so the rest will probably be boxed up and putup in the attic.

Was wondering whether to put them in the attic. Just need to make sure we aren't caught! My DS could honestly work for MI5!

In the attic. DH stuck everything up there while the girls were in the bath, so no chance of getting caught!

Ours is in our bedroom cupboard, it's really tricky to open (built in) so works for now. Not sure what we will do when the dc are older. Some bits are under dd's bed behind her drawers

We are buying DD a small armchair for her bedroom, I am just about to sell my horse box which is where large items have been stored since time began.

Our house is stuffed as we moved to a smaller house on our last move .... I have absolutely no idea where this is going to go, cream as well.

We have a dusty old barn which is crammed and a shed which is where it probably end up. Everything else will be manageable, just the chair, which I have ordered - dreading it turning up tbh.

Parents usually. Sometimes the neighbours help out, we have a great relationship with them fortunately!

I have a box on top of my wardrobe for such things. I think the girls know their stuff is in there - but as I can't get the box down, only DH can - I figure it's safe for now :-)

I'm hiding mine in my travel suitcase this year, last year it was the top shelf cupboard of our pantry. DD is only 18 months old, so I have time to perfect my hiding spots. But we have plenty of storage boxes with clothes we can "gut" when she gets bigger and more sneaky so if she opens it she'll just see clothes... little does she know presents are underneath.

Part of the fun after we found out about Santa was trying to figure out where they hid the presents. We never found them, we look everywhere they'd kill us if they knew we were that deep in their closet. They still won't tell us, they think it's funny. I'm sure they just hid them in a box that has always been there in the attic but we never managed to find it.

We've a cupboard in our living room that has nothing it it - it's more ornamental than practical. The presents go in there. My boys are past the age of getting stuff in huge boxes now - it's mainly books, Xbox games, t shirts, shower gel, and other stocking fillers.

In the top of our built in wardrobes. DS is 11 now and has never yet been prone to poking about. If he did I would be disappointed but it's not as if he's about to have his belief in FC shattered.

At the back of the cupboard under the stairs with a picnic blanket or 2 thrown over the top! It's getting a bit risky (Dc now 5 and 7) but there literally isn't anywhere else!

Mine are 3&1 so it's pretty easy for now, the landing cupboard, our wardrobe, a half painted house in our en suite and two big boxes in our room until tomorrow, then it'll be all put in the loft where even I can't get it going forward anything big will be dumped asked to stay at their grans, the rest put straight up to the loft.

In the attic, bin bags in the garage, in our wardrobe, on top of our wardrobe, boot of car, or at granny's.

In my under stairs cupboard. There's only the oldest that I need to worry about finding them for now (he's 7 in 2 weeks time!) And he listens when hes told the cupboard is out of bounds. The others are both under 2

In the motor home on the driveway now.

It used to be in the 'tricky to open' wardrobe in my bedroom, but caught oldest two rummaging through all the presents one year so we had to find a new spot.

Loving the ideas on here. With the bits and pieces I have bought so far, I have put a couple of boxes on the wardrobe, a few things in the attic, a couple bits under the stairs and a couple bits in the linen/towel cupboard. Garage might be good as well as already loads of boxes in there so they might not notice them.

sideorderofchips mine are stored in the Amazon boxes they come in in my bedroom. Dc have never thought to go through them and when I get around to wrapping them I then sellotape the boxes back up.

Mine are on top of our Wardrobe and in a trunk in our hallway.

Our garage gets a bit ratty to be a feasible option!

The DTs are only 3 and can't open my wardrobe door so that's where i have stashed everything so far, or if they have seen it I pretend it is for their cousin who is getting a lot of presents apparently
I'm dreading them learning to read as then i will have to hide all my lists
