presents for 16 month ds?

His birthday isn't until August so happy to get 'grow into' presents.
Any ideas?

I have 2 boys, and by the time they were 18 months, were utterly obsessed about cars, trucks, tractors, diggers. This elc tractor is similar to one of my son's favourite toys. I'm watching my 4 year old play with it!

Playmobil 123 might be a grow into toy, but both mine just love it. We have the house and the fire station. Both are still being played with.

Brio style train sets are always recommended for small children here!

I've just given 2 year old GS a wooden garage and a wooden car transporter for his birthday. He's been playing with them literally nonstop since yesterday morning! The little cars even went to bed with him.
Definitely wooden toys are the way to go as far as he's concerned.

That sounds fab Non where did you get it from?

DD will be a similar age and she's getting a balance trike. She also likes Megabloks, balls, crayons and chalk.
