Build a Bear

My daughter has just turned 6 and for Christmas I think that she would love a build a bear/the whole experience.

She loves soft toys, craft things and 'playing out' on her bike (new- for her birthday).

The only thing is a gift voucher is not a very exciting thing to open on Christmas Day and I am not sure how to dress it up to make it exciting. She has never been to a build a bear so she probably wouldn't get it either (although we could change that).

Any ideas on how to make it a good gift when she opens it.... Or any other ideas.

She is not really into dolls (baby or Barbie types). She is one of four so we have plenty of Lego, scooters etc. Thanks.

You could get creative and make a huge letter on card with pics inviting her to Build a Bear ( and add an invite lunch at a place of her choice!) ?

I scorned Build a Bear but my DS1 when he was 6 really wanted to go. A family member paid for both my children to go and they had an excellent time and both bears are firmly established in our household. Have been in to be mended a few times but the staff were lovely.

You could maybe buy some clothes, or a wardrobe, skateboard, etc etc for the new bear with an invitation to go and choose him/her as soon as p ossible after Christmas.

Why not look on the build a bear website. You can actually buy them online plus any accessories you want
