Toy castle or dolls house recommendations

Hi everyone,

My almost 2 year old daughter loves playing with her brothers toy Knights so I was thinking of getting her a toy castle to go with them. She also loves Elsa and is getting a singing doll, so I was looking at Frozen ice castles but they all look a bit plasticy and cheap (but they're not actually cheap). Does anyone have a good one? Or could recommend another castle or dolls house?

I've kind of fallen in love with this KidKraft one but it's too big for our house so I'm trying to rein it in!

It doesn't have to be a particularly girly one, and I don't mind if it's for age 3 and up because she's always playing with her older brothers stuff anyway.

Thanks for any recommendations!

We have the Melissa and Doug castle, it is excellent. It also comes fully assembled, it folds open and has a trap door to fall into a dungeon with an opening door . We have the standard one, but I think there's a pink type one as well.

Thanks - I was thinking about that one so good to get a recommendation

We got the four seasons house from Hape for dd first birthday and it's lovely. Open sided so designed to be played with by multiple children and the furniture sets are adorable :)

we have this Melissa and doug one: Castle

which DD (3) abosultely adores. comes assembled, can be used opened fully out or partly and fits the Disney store figurines that she has. its expensive but she plays with it all the time. its really sturdy too!

Melissa and doug does this less pink one if your DD isn't as pinky and glittery as mine!! Non Pink Castle

My children love playmobil and they still play with it a few years on. My point is that it's grown with them.. I've rehomed elc stuff and character peppa/Ben holly stuff. So, if you wanted something that would last as well as appeal to your daughter as she grow up, I'd recommend this playmobil castle.

It's their smaller one.. The £100+ is fantastic but it's blooming huge!

Thanks everyone. The Melissa and Doug one seems popular. I hadn't come across Hape before - I love the bright colours and it reminds me of my childhood dollhouse so that's tempting!

I love that the playmobil one looks like the Disney castle though....decisions!

I definitely do NOT recommend the Playmobil ones. Ds's breaks if you so much as breeze past it too quickly!
