Photo Gifts

Last year I made homemade food hampers as gifts for my parents and FIL. They loved them so I'm doing them again. DS has arrived in the meantime and I don't think any of them have pictures of DD and DS together so I want to include something - it doesn't have to be an actual photo. Can I please ask for your recommended companies for photo gifts? I've had a groupon canvas before that was awful, so I'm a bit wary!

Any offers are a bonus Smile

I've used photobox quite a lot for mugs and calendars. They went down well!

Yes, Photobox online or Max Spielman on the high street.

We have given coasters more than once. They went down very well and are still used daily.

I've used Snapfish quite a lot and they seem to do a few offers / deals

I wouldn't give a canvas or cushion (mil was thankfully talked out of doing one for me) as I personally don't like having other people's taste imposed on me and it would be expected to be displayed. I have had high quality prints done and put in a nice frame that can be changed if not liked.

My mum loves the calendars as I put all the funny pics of DD on that she doesn't get to see.

I think the danger with products with photos of, is they can look naff or tacky.

Stick to simple. Calendars, Prints, Photos.

Snapfish are very good, but do make use of their deals as they are so frequent you'd be daft not to.

If you fancied something different, Asda do coasters you can put your own pictures in. They are a fiver. IMO they are better and look nicer than printed coasters, PLUS you can change the picture frequently if you didn't like. They are nicer quality than you'd expect and certainly don't look like they cost just a £5.

If you ever use instagram, then these frames are fab - they have space for 9 magnetic images that you can change easily, if and when you get bored.
