Lego Disney sets compatible with Playmobil fairies/princesses?

Thanks to a tip on the bargain thread, I've put a Lego Cinderella carriage in my basket. My DC have a few Playmobil sets (fairies and princesses) - would the Lego sets be compatible? Or am I going to tear my hair out at more fiddly bits and pieces?! Thanks in advance to anyone in the know.

Lego is usually on a smaller scale. Lego and Playmobil ante never allowed to mix in our house. It makes me all twitchy

We have the carriage.. It falls to pieces everytime one of the girls play with it. They build it back again.. But we've already lost a few pieces..??.. It was a truly fab pressie in August for my 7yr old with the matching Cinderella palace (also falls apart by purely looking at the dammed thing). I even bought a £8 Lego big square base plate, which has helped but the turrets are mega week.. Am now thinking of glueing the f*ckers on!

Glad someone agrees with me kiwi my work colleagues ( primary school so it's relevant) think I'm mad!
