Several MNetters have recommended this xmas movie, and you can get in Woolworths at the moment for £4.99 when you spend £5 on something else - several other xmas movies to choose form including the Snowman.

i'm a childminder and all my schoolies finish school on friday 22nd at 2pm
so we are having a movie afternooon on the big screen projector with pizza and popcorn
polor express sounds like a good movie to watch

Just want to let you know that the Polar Express is fantastic. £5 is a total bargain for such a wonderful film.
We bought it last xmas and watched it over and over. Am looking forward to cuddling up on sofa with dds again this year and watching it again.
Even better, if like us you have surround sound the sound effects are brilliant. We turned it right up and seemed like the train was coming out of the walls.
You won't regret buying it!!!

I must be the only person who hated this film then. My bf raved about it, luckily I only borrowed it from the library, because I was seriously unimpressed. NMo, more than that. Hated it.

Are there any good (and funny?) Christmas films for around 6 - 8 yrs old?
