Every christmas since we were children there has been a list of films that my brother, sister, mum and I watch.I'm now 25,sis 15,bro 12 and we still do this, although my mum has now recruited dp and ds into the gathering and educated dp in some xmas films hes never even seen!

I thought we could share our fave xmas movies with each other so that we can share them with families who havent seen them xx

Mine are

Muppets Christmas Carol (this is a must in our house!)
Santa Claus the Movie
One Magic Christmas
National Lampoons Xmas Vacation
The Snowman

Im sure I will think of some more as I go along !!

The Polar Express is fab imo, great animation, original, enchanting.

I enjoyed Stormbreaker recently too

and we like both Shreks, The Incredibles and Stuart Little (although I'm personally a bit bored of it as dd had a phase of lovnig it)

RubberDuck · 29/11/2006 10:57

It isn't Christmas until we've played the Muppets in our house

For the adults, I love Love Actually for my Christmassy movie as well as While You Were Sleeping (but then I'm a sappy Duck at the best of times...)

noogles · 29/11/2006 11:07

While you were sleeping is lovely. I love anything with Sandra Bullock in.

Boobooroastingonanopenfire · 02/12/2006 16:58

Original 'Miracle on 34th Street'
'It's a Wonderful Life'
and...

'A Christmas Story'. It's a Canadian film about a boy growing up in the 40's/50's who wants a gun for Christmas. It's fantastic - and you can't buy it on R2 DVD .
