Marzipan vodka?

Has anybody made this?
Was going through my list of ideas and one person loves marzipan (and alcohol lol) so wondered if I could incorporate this into my homemade gifts . I can't find an example online though. I imagine it would be similar to skittles vodka?

That sounds lovely but I don't know how you would get rid of the grittiness of the marzipan.

I wonder if something like some homemade amaretto may be easier to make, and just as tasty for the recipient?

You could do an almond and cherry infusion and strain it to remove the grit?
