I have got Garfield typing tutor which is good, someone else has recommended Mavis Beacon teaches typing for kids but I haven't tried this.

Thanks - I've been looking for one, too, as ds1's handwriting is so awaful that he is better off typing.
Are any of these suggestions suitable for yr 8 child do you happen to know? He wouldn't be impressed with Sponge Bob!

i have been using this one to help to brush up on my typing on bbc website. dance mat typing

DS1 did the first lesson of the Dancemat one the other day and really enjoyed it.

Ds1 is 13 but still thought Dance Mat Typing is great - thanks!

I like typing of the dead. This is the only non-outrageously-priced version I've found.
