Books
Sweets
Clothes/h&m voucher
Smiggle stuff
Bike
Bike gloves/helmet/bell/water bottle
Tokidoki stuff
Dvds
Cross body bag

These are just suggestions :) my own only gets 3 presents: something you want, something you need and a surprise. HTH

Ah happygirl I was thinking a sewing machine but wasn't sure if she was too young so maybe going for a sew cool or bedazzle instead.
She does like doing the song along games on our computer so I'm not sure if a karaoke machine is needed.
But the lava lamp is a great idea cause we want to make the girls room nice.
I like the idea of nail machine. Thank you ladies.
Still need a "main" idea though.
It's weird this stage. She will be going to a new school this year (it's a 3 tier system )
She's still my baby but growing up so is difficult to know what to get for her x

My Dd is almost 12, but things she loved are:

Popcorn maker
Mini cupcake maker
Monopoly empire (great game)
Knitting needles and wool
Lava lamp
Clothes
Nail varnish

If you are going to buy a sewing machine then I would buy a proper entry level one. Then if she takes to it then it will do for quite some time.

We have a cafe near us that has craft lessons for 8-14 year olds and they do loads of sewing as well as crochet, knitting, candle making etc. My 9 year old loves going there so we will probably get her a voucher for christmas.

Watching with interest, struggling with ideas.

sallyst123 · 19/08/2015 16:56

Thank you all so much for your ideas.
I'm really liking the sewing machine idea she has always loved sketching her own outfit ideas then trying to make them on her dolls with toilet paper or scraps of material cleverly knotted!!
The popcorn maker & lava lamp ideas are great as well.
Thank you x

magazine subscription?

StompyBlueNose · 19/08/2015 20:34

Your Dd might like some great little books called klutz paper fashion that contain lots of different papers and stencils for designing outfits - my dd spent hours with these books!

Fierceflora · 19/08/2015 20:37

My dd is 10 and is desperate for a mini instax camera (like a Polaroid), specifically a mint green one! She has a mini John Lewis sewing machine I bought her last year which she does use sometimes and has been to classes with it eg she made a skirt and a tote bag. Think it was about £50, it's a lovely little machine I use it all the time!

I have an 11 yr old. Loves gair stuff. Already got her a roller/bendy wands set from Home Bargains. £50 Primark voucher. Selfie stick to go with Ipod.

lavazzzalover · 20/08/2015 08:29

hair!!!

StompyFreckles · 20/08/2015 21:32

I like the look of the mini instax camera!
