Aliexpress?

Is it worth buying from Aliexpress? I have found some great Star Wars and Tou Story toys my 2 boys would love but is it too much of a risk?

Lots of youTubes about purchases from there. Potentially a lottery, it seems.

I love Alexpress.
I have bought so many things from there. You do need to read the reviews and look and the number of orders.
I have never had an issue. DH bought a three piece custom wool tweed suit for $130 and it's great.

I got a gorgeous Next dress there for dd for Christmas last year. Brilliant quality and value.

Check reviews for each item and delivery times can be long.

I bought loads of things from there last year. All fab. Just ordered a lovely My Little Pony hoody from there. I was a little nervous about paying using my card so I used my personal account because there's very little money in there and a very small overdraft.

I like Aliexpress because the money doesn't actually go to the seller until you've received the item. Aliexpress hold it until you go in and say that you've received it and you're happy with it.

When you say delivery takes a while, how long are we talking? We have a family birthday early September, do I stand a chance of getting things by then?

Ali express is good, you just have to be careful if buying clothes and accessories really. Double check sizing charts as they always come up different, sometimes materials can be thin, I would say it's great for little stocking fillers and small presents, but wouldn't rely on it for a main expensive gift as you can never guess the overall quality.
Delivery for us has normally been around 3wks and everything's always turned up fine.

Total lottery and if you get shite its very difficult to return as you need to do customs paperwork and you pay the return postage which is usually too high to make it worth the effort.

Weve had football strips with addidas tags on but clearly thinner/lower quality, do t wash as well but wearable. Team Footie socks which were really bad.

We've had footie boots that were unwearable as too thin to be safe.

Also had minecraft toys which were good.
