I don't get it. Why would you, it looks awful like something college frat boys would use?

Looks very odd.
My dad did once only attatch the branches to one dies of our tree and then he hung it on the wall as we had no room to have it standing up. Looked nice.

OMFG - DH and I are peeing ourselves laughing at this one. Brilliant [grin} - who in their right minds would buy that rubbish. Modern art to the extreme!!

It's in Kmart. I'm pretty sure that makes it not art at all.

I am always tempted by the idea of the fake trees with the lights built in, but DH always talks me back to sense, and we get a normal tree.

Apparantly it was a Victorian custom. We have a local victorian style home shop (IYKWIM) and they had one like that last year.

There was an upside down Christmas tree at the Tate Gallery a few years ago.

Doesn't satisfy my sense of proportion, no not at all it looks crap.Tbh i thought it would be hung from a ceiling or something more original, not just plonked the wrong way up looking all undignified!

It kind of makesme think of satanism! Like the inverted cross, maybe if you're really anti-Christmas, you could perform some appropriate ritual including the horrifc inversion of the tree.

Ah the one in the shop near me was fixed in the centre of the ceiling(like the light fitting)and the star on the top/bottom/point touched the floor, looked fab!

Oh it's hilarious! It kind of looks like a bouquet of flowers shape, it could maybe grow on me...

Very practical - look at all the space it would save on! THINK ABOUT IT!
