I usually buy crackers that you fill yourself, in past years I have filled them with items like a G String ( the funnier and sexier the better ) A scratch card/Lottery ticket, a key ring, Thornton?s chocolate. Basically anything that will fit into a cracker. Has anyone else did this and if so what do you fill your crackers with.

do this regularly - always a quality street choc and something from Hawkins Bazaar to suit the receiver.

Halfords have a range of little tools and torches etc (or at least ous does, by the checkouts) which fit crackers and work well for the men.

I have never done this before, but think it's a great idea. Where to you buy the crackers from?

Tesco's does them, or gently open up the crackers and fill them your self with things you want in them.

We are doing this this year too, but just making our own from toilet roll holders, crepe paper, snaps (bought from ebay) and I will fill them with a little gift for each person. I may put a joke in - not sure yet. But no hats - I hate the hats!

Love this idea. Always put off by the lack of snap. Will have a look on ebay and stock up on loo rolls!!!!

OK tried Cracker Snap - nothing. Tried Cracker 100's. What do I search on? Wading through all the crackers. Seen loads of kits but no snaps on their own
