christmas table cloth

does anyone know where i can get a nice christmas table cloth from. Dont want to spend a fortune or go over the top with too many matching bits as i only have quite a small rectangle table, and i dont normally do table cloths just thought it would be nice as we are having christmas dinner at home as dh is on call all over xmas

I use a plain white cloth and then put a Christmasssy runner on top. Tchibo had white runners with red snowflakes last week.

do you have a haberdahery nearby and you might get some nice dressy fabric quite cheaply

noticed this in restaurants on holiday last year; if you use a table runner for two people sitting opposite - that is put it across the table instead of lenthwise.you can use all the same colour all down the table or different ones. it looks really smart.

Tesco have a few bits including a nice looking red tablecloth that won't break the bank.

Quite traditional , but nice. I love this one - reindeer . Or some snowflakes .

I've just bought a red one with little holly leaves on it for £10 from Webb Ivory, ds brought the catalogue home from school.

Agree with fluppy, I got a nice deep red one with a sort of holly pattern in it (pattern in the texture, not the colour IYKWIM) FOR 7.99 from Tesco.

tchibo is doing a red with gold print design for £12 this year - in store from 29th Nov I think but can order online now.

matalan have some great stuff, including red felt tablemats in a snowflake shape.

wollies have half price wipe clean ones for a fiver. not the height of sophistication, but fun!

Tesco always do a nice well priced range of Christmas table adorments - and you can pick and choose what you want to get!

definitely tchibo and matalan, or if not a length of fabric from fabricland/fabricworld, they have some really fun stuff in at Christmas.

Or just plain red, with some gold or silver stars cut out put down the centre of the table, some ivy, some satsumas, couple of candles - you can't get more Christmassy than that!
