Play-Do or Plasticine??

I am wondering which set to get my DD1,2.5yr for xmas. Have some plasticine but seems very sticky. Is Play-do any better. Want max enjoyment with min mess!! Is this possible?

playdoh is easier for little ones - plasticine is hard and takes quite a lot of manipulation to warm it up and make it pliable.

Can't promise it won't be messy though.
