do you think it would be ok for a 3 yr old?

should be ok i think, my friend works there and said ds (20 months in dec) too young this year but should be fine next. i don't think they usually do an interval so prob down to whether you think she'll enjoy sitting still.

are you in east london? this looks great we are going next week.

IMHO they are still too young to sit through a 2 hr show. Why waste your money, she won't remeber it anyway and you are only doing it for you, not her

That might sound harsh but DH is an actor and does loads of pantos and the worst thing is parents with unhappy children, even if you taken them out there is tooing and froing and toilet trips etc which disturb both the audience and actors. Find a show 'specifically' for young kids which is short if you can,

BTW my kids have been to panto from babies but that has alwasy been to watch dh and they usually fell asleep

The Snowman is fabulous. dd saw last year when she was 2.5 and she loved it - still talks about it now.

hey. yes, crunchie, didnt mean a long show. more suggestions for a christmassy outing which a 3 yr old will enjoy, rather than trying to get her to do something for an older child.

pooka - where did you see the snowman?

At the Peacock Theatre off Kingsway (nr Charing Cross).
Was a treat organised by my father and step-mother. She loved it, but helped I suppose having 3 adults to 1 child!
